We all know that coffee is a good caffeinated beverage to get a new day started, but we do not know exactly what time to drink it will be best.
Here are some explanations.

Scientists finds that there's a internal clock called circadian rhythm in our body to wake us up, and this clock control the release of a hormone called cortisol which happens to be related to your level of alertness through the day.
What's interesting, when you drink a cup of coffee during 8 to 9 AM, the cortisol level peak obviously diminishes the caffeine's effect and has you consume more cups of coffee to stay awake.
What if you get up extremely early or late? Scientists propose that you can wait at least one hour to get your cup of joe, because cortisol levels indeed increase 50% after you wake up, no matter what time it is.
So, enjoy your coffee and have a good day.
