Amazingly, boy thought it did work, definitely in the UK, because the salt on the fries didn't overpower the chocolate. when he went to the fifth mouthful, however, he couldn't really tell what it is going on so that he gave it only 7 out of 10 and probably never try it again.
To sum, everything in Japan is always new and curious to the foreigner.
